When I was a child I used to watch a show 'storm-chasers' which used to be telecasted on Discovery channel and watching that I used to get excited that I will also do the same whenever I will be getting a chance to do that around my place but sadly from that age until now I never saw any tornado nor heard of any tornado hitting India. 2 days back a news started circulating everywhere that a tornado wrecked havoc in USA  after ripping through 6 states of America with Kentucky facing most of the brunt with having wind speeds gusting upto 320kmph and killing atleast 100. With this sad news many had a curiosity that "whether India also experiences tornadoes or not ?"  Does it occur in India ?   World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated every year on June 5 to encourage environmental awareness and environmental protection.  According to the United Nations, "the celebration of this day provides us with an opportunity to broaden the basis for an enlightened opinion and responsible conduct by individuals, enterprises, and communities in preserving and enhancing the environment." This Year's Theme Theme for 2021 is 'ecosystem restoration' and tthis year's WED will be hosted by Pakistan.
