W ith the rain gods showering their blessings upon us by turning the dry brownish barren land into a green moist carpet all around, every nook and corner looks absolutely breathtaking in this season, be it the plains or Satpura of Madhya Pradesh, hills of Northern India or the peninsular plateau. One prominent geographical feature which stands out from the rest is the Western Ghats located on the West coast of India. Western ghats are the mountainous regions running parallel to West Coast from Gujarat till Kerala. Of the various mesmerising sections of Western Ghats one is the Sahyadaris ( located in Maharashtra).
